El Cuerpo de Paz de los Estados Unidos en Ecuador busca personas calificadas para desempeñarse como Asistente Ejecutivo (EA) a tiempo completo en Quito, brindando apoyo al Director País, al Director de Administración y Operaciones, y al Director de Programación y Capacitación. Esta posición de tiempo completo ofrece servicios administrativos, de comunicaciones, gestión de eventos y apoyo a voluntarios, y requiere sólidas habilidades bilingües (español/inglés), excelente capacidad organizativa y discreción. Las responsabilidades incluyen gestionar correspondencia, calendarios, reuniones, logística de viajes, coordinación con la Embajada, documentación de voluntarios, procesos de acreditación, contenidos de comunicaciones, manejo de archivos y apoyo en eventos importantes.Calificaciones y Requisitos Mínimos: Ciudadanía ecuatoriana actual, residencia y/o permiso de trabajo vigente. Estudios universitarios en administración de empresas o un campo relacionado. Se prefiere título universitario. Si el candidato no cuenta con título universitario, se requiere un mínimo de 3 años de experiencia laboral relevante. Mínimo 3 años de experiencia progresiva en funciones administrativas, secretariales, gestión de eventos o áreas relacionadas. Se prefiere experiencia en organizaciones internacionales similares a Peace Corps. Dominio profesional del español y del inglés. Backup Peace Corps Medical Officer

The United States Peace Corps seeks a Medical Doctor, Physician, or Nurse Practitioner to serve as a back-up provider contracted Peace Corps Medical Officer (PCMO), to be based in Quito to assist during busy times. A back-up PCMO can expect to be required to provide one week to several months of services. However, most time a back-up PCMO is required for 1-3 weeks. The PCMO will provide health care to U.S. Peace Corps Volunteers in Ecuador, and will work under the supervision of the Peace Corps Country Director and the Peace Corps Office of Medical Services in Washington DC.Duties include: Routine primary health care to Peace Corps Trainees and Volunteers including treatment of common illnesses and injuries in accordance with Peace Corps medical guidelines Individual short-term counseling on disease prevention, adjustment issues, stress management and cross-cultural problems Response to emergency medical situations Ability to conduct trainings on health-related issues Site visits to Peace Corps Volunteers throughout Ecuador Administrative tasks of the medical office including budget management Inventory of medical supplies and equipment Alternate 24 hour on- call duty with other PCMOsQualifications and Requirements: Graduate of accredited school: MDs must be a graduate of a school listed in this link, Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research https://search.wdoms.org/ Current license to practice A minimum of two years of unsupervised, independent clinical experience is required Ability to communicate effectively in oral/written English, C1 on the CEFR scale.
